A session is an hour on one question about your app. Bring the screen that isn’t working, the decision your team keeps circling, or the plan you want pressure-tested, and leave knowing what to do next.
Because we both design and engineer, we can look at the interface and the code behind it in the same hour, so questions that usually bounce between a designer and an engineer get settled at once. Sessions are with Cory Etzkorn, a designer and engineer with 15+ years of experience and one of Notion’s first 20 employees.
Good questions for a session include:
¶ Design. A flow, a screen, or an onboarding that isn’t working, and what to change first.
¶ Engineering. Swift or React Native, what to rebuild and what to keep, and how to set up an app so it can grow.
¶ AI. Where AI belongs in your product, and how to make it feel like part of the product rather than bolted on.
¶ Prototypes. What to prototype first, and how to get it in front of real people quickly.
Before we meet, we review what you share when you book: a link to your app, prototype, or codebase, and the question you want answered. Sessions are booked at least two days ahead to leave time for that, so the hour goes to the answer, not the walkthrough.
During the hour, we’ll work in whatever helps: your live app, a quick sketch, or the code itself. You’ll leave with an answer you can act on. Anything that needs real design or engineering time becomes a project: we’ll quote it, and if it starts within 30 days, the session fee is credited toward it.
